ABLUTION, PATIENCE TO THE TRIBULATIONS &
THE BATTLE OF BADR WITHIN YOU
By Prof.Dr.Munir Derman (k.s)
Hadrat Bayazid-i Bistami went to Hajj.
He approached the Kaabah like that.
Kaabah is appearing from a distance.
But he turns back, Hadrat Bayazid-i Bistami.
He went to Hajj 13 times.
He came back 13 times without making a “tawaf”.
He said, “I couldn’t be clean enough yet”.
A great friend of ALLAH (waliyullah) is saying this!
But their cleanliness is not like ours.
On the 14th time, he entered Hajj and he could find the strength in himself.
He is entering the "Kaabah" of ALLAH.
We are going casually with a firm called “Effortless ones Ltd.” by giving 2000 Turkish Lira to them. Aha, there I went and I came back.
What happened?
There, I brought fragrances and rings, and handed them out (to the people). That’s it!
If you go like (him) then ablution finishes and the devil (Shaiytan) escapes.
Otherwise by having ablution in this way or that way will be futile, even if you put a snorkel in your mouth and remain under the water the shaiytan (devil) will still approach you. That sort of ablution is futile. The one who does this (as Bistami does) is the one who knows why he has come to this world.
That is why it was “fardh” (obligatory) to keep his ablution upon our Master Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Do you understand me why I keep saying to you, “Always keep your ablution”?.
“Keep your ablution!.” “Keep your ablution!.”
Do not remain as a piece of flesh between the world and the hereafter (akhirat)!
It would be a waste indeed!
Impatience against a tribulation or a calamity is a complaint haaa!
When will it come, when will it be, has this not happened yet?
Complaint in the sight of ALLAH is to touch the chain of destiny (Qadar).
It is considered to be the revolt against the ordainment of ALLAH.
In these sorts of situations, hidden shirk (shirk-i khafi) appears.
You would be like associating partnership with ALLAH.
Saying ALLAH is two or ALLAH is five is not the “shirk”. It is a verbal “shirk”.
Objecting to the destiny appointed by ALLAH is the “shirk”.
The man is in hard times, because his livelihood (rizk) is less:
“Oh my Lord, I am depressed, please increase my sustenance!”
(This is ) Shirk!
It is the ordainment of ALLAH, does Allah not know it?.
Think about Why this put you in distress. Find a way to solve this!
All of us say in prayer (dua):
“Oh Lord (Rabb) give this. Oh Lord give that!” we say.
We say and say (this prayer) again, and there is nothing. Why is there nothing?
You need to question why it has not happened if your wish didn’t come true.
That is why, never thrash the chain of Destiny by your foot.
Thrashed! But who gets thrashed?.
Islam (the Muslim) gets thrashed.
Does nothing happen to the others?
They are already thrashed my son! They are already thrashed.
The person who is not able to experience the pleasure of putting his head on the “sajda” (prostration) got a kick. He got it well as well.
He becomes desolated and destroyed bit by bit.
As ALLAH is ready/present (Hazir) and watching (Nazir) everywhere, the believer (mumin) is always with Him. Try to feel and understand this. This is not done by talking.
When you are together with Him, the despair (yais), fear and grief will become dispelled/removed (raf-i daf) by itself .
There is no grief/despair (Lâ Tahzanû) in Islam (muslim).
The angels participated in the battle of Badr.
Do you know how Badr is?
The Arsh trembles from its place!.
The Army of Islam is there, and the army of mushriks is on this side.
The Army of Islam is hundred or hundred and fifty people. The Other army is one thousand people.
Suddenly, Musab Ibni Amr, while holding the flag (the standard-bearer), is climbing up over there with a sword in his hand. He is not Omaru’l-Faruk. I am saying Musab Ibni Amr. There is his brother confronting him from the mushriqs (polytheists) side. Brother is pulling sword against brother.
Hadrat Abu Bakr is here and pulled his sword, and there is his son, Abdurrahman, confronting him. Abu Huzayfa is here, and his white bearded father Utba is a commander confronting him. Hd.Omar is here, Omaru’l-Faruq! His uncle, the man who is defaming Rasulullah is against him.
I am not saying his name just to be condescending.
On this side, Abu Ubayda’s father, and there is Abu Ubayda on the other side.
Hd. Ali Abu Talib is here and his brother Ukayl is on the other side.
Hd. Hamza is here, and his brother Abbas is against him! Then he became muslim (Islam) as you know.
The scene is very deplorable dear believers. The relationship of the Beloved (Janan) is preferred over the relationship of the soul/life (Jan). Look!
Abu Ubayda is cutting the head of his father as soon as he attacked.
He is taking his head in his hand and coming:
“Oh Rasulullah, I brought my father’s head to you. He had defamed you!.” he is saying.
Look at those people. There is such a battle there.
Father is slaughtering the son, and the son is slaughtering the father.
Of course the polytheists (mushriks) are so many and the army of Islam will be destroyed.
Our Master Rasul-u Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam:
“Oh Lord (Ya Rabb), You had promised me, now I want your promise!” he says and starts crying. Our Master Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
He is planting himself in prostration (sajda).
“There, they are a handful of people, Oh Lord! They want Your Oneness (Wahdaniyyat).”He is saying
“who will be a servant (abd) for You?”
Blessed (mubaraq) forehead of the Rasulullah saws is on the floor, in sajda.
This is Rasulullah who put his head on the floor. What do you do, you touch your nose and get up like a dog.
“I won’t lift my head up, Oh God (Ilahi)!” he is saying.
“if the help (nusrat) does not arrive, Oh Lord!” he is saying.
He is insisting.
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
The revelation (wahy) is coming immediately. Jabra’il (Gabriel).
“Oh my Beloved (Habib), lift your head up, don’t be upset.”
Now in that moment, armies of angels are coming and routing the area.
There is a battle of Badr for the believer (mumin) at every moment, dear reverend (Aziz) people (jamaat).
There is a battle of Badr for the believer at every moment.
When you are doing prayer (salah) at night time, get up and cry saying "Oh LORD (Ya Rabb)!.." Do “the battle of Badr” of your body!..Crush your Nafs (Soul/Self)!.
The Battle of Badr does not express a battle. The battles exist in the history.
Why is there the “battle of Badr” in the Qur’an of the Generous One?
The battle of Badr is your “SADR” [*]. Dive into it!.[/b]
[*] SADR: Sadr means “bosom” . It is the head quarter of the Nafs(Soul) that is our real and liable identity in the test of servanthood.[/color]
Brother is cutting brother’s head , and father is cutting son’s head.
Cut (the desires of) your nafs (soul/self) off!.
Lit the torch of Rasulullah!.
Gain the pleasure of Allah (Ridhaullah)!.
Lillahil- Fatiha!.
