Dear Reader. Kulihvani uses Turkish language very well in his poetry and it is extremely difficult for a translator to translate the words he uses in his poems. I do my best to translate it, but know that he writes words within words in his poetry layer by layer so the meanings are very difficult to translate. He seperates the words in to syllables from various places by hyphen and apostrophes which give other meanings for the readers. For instance in original Turkish poem, he says "Kapan ICine". This means to "withdraw within" in here , term "Kapan" comes from the verb "Kapanmak" which is to be folded up, to be closed, to withdraw. However, He seperates the second word and makes the letters capital which makes the word "Kapanmak" like "Kapmak" to snatch. IF you look in to the photo, you will see an eagle which is snatching the wolf. So He is stating that Snatcher is within. So in a way he is telling the INNER (Unmanifested-Batin) is always dominant upon Zaheer(Manifested-outer) and INNER is victorious upon OUTER. Term KAPAN is also a trap in Turkish which is the third meaning. Kulihvani uses, colour coding, letter coding and by seperating letters and sylables of the words in his poems, he writes meanings within meanings. As these poems are coming from the heart, it is very difficult to translate compared to other type of poetry. So please bear in mind while reading. It may not make sense sometimes or it may become heavy. When one reads his poems, he should try to read it a few times and contemplate over the words and use the glossary below as well and make salawat to Rasulullah SAS before reading it. We hope that the reader will attain some meanings inshaallah.
