RAHMAD
This is an Arabic word being translated to English language as mercy, grace, benefection. Rahmad is made of letters “Ra(ر)”, “Ha(حـ)” , “MiM(مـ)” and “Dal(د)”.
“Mad” in Arabic means stretching/extending. Stretching of the shadow or to go by stretching/being drawn out. Reaching there but reaching by stretching.

There is a term called “Mad-Jazr” which means “Abe and Tide” in English. It is like that. “Mad” is like it coming by stretching, “Jazr” is like its receding. “Ha(حـ)” is like something being “Haq” to you. “Haq” is to have a right to something or to have a benefit. “Dal(د)” here is like “Daimiyya” which means continuity e.g perennial, eternity,abiding (Absolute Daimiyya belongs to Divinity,”Uluhiyya”. Continuity of everything depends on ALLAH j.j ).
“MiM(مـ)” is “Masiwa” or the Mother of the Continuity of Material. “MiM(مـ)” is already “Daimiyya”. Rasulullah (SAS) is “Hayy:living” right at the moment.
“HMAD” means to have right to Muhammadi share or to have a benefit of it in this continuity(daimiyya). “Ra(ر)” here is like the one which brings this benefit or right(haq) to you. It is like a plug and a connecting cord together. It is a transmitter or transporter(isal) cord bringing the electricity from there to here. This is a must in sunnatullah. “Ra(ر)” in the terms “R-isal, R-asul, I-R-sal “ is this. It is Ruyat, Ridha. It makes something manifest and that thing becomes zaheer and visible .

Therefore “Rahmad/Rahmat” is the stretching of the grace and beneficience(ihsan) in ALLAH to us. Its “Mad”, its coming to us and in this way it becomes our right(Haq) and benefit to have it within us. It is our right (haq) being created(Halq) within us. Whatever brings this grace and beneficience(ihsan) to us , it becomes “Rahmad”. If a cloud brings it to us, We call it rahmad. If the rain brings it to us, We call it rahmad. If Rasulullah (SAS) brings it to us, We call him rahmad. Whomever brings it to us, we call him rahmad.
Is ALLAH a RAHMAD? No, ALLAH is not RAHMAD but ALLAH is AR-RAHEEM, the one who creates RAHMAD.
