… OR …
Salamun Alaikum
Dear Brothers and Sisters
This is a compilation from the various verses of Qur’an stating “OR” in it. English translations of Qur’an used in this compilation are Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s and Pickthall’s translations. Please know that Qur’an can not be translated to any other language . We use the term “translation” as there is no other word to use in English language. Translations made are never equivalent to the Qur’an in Arabic language.
Some individual verses may address to various events that might be independent from each other, or they might be related to various people who were around the Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H e.g Christians, Jews, Muslims, Idolaters, a particular tribe, Unbelievers, the mankind. But When I read this, I feel as if everything is addressed to me. You need to refer to Qur’an commentaries for a particular verse if you have a querry about any verse to find out who it was addressed to.There is a mercy beyond the warnings of GOD, Although you may not like it .
Prophet Muhammad SAW said, “When Allah created the creatures, He wrote in the Book, which is with Him over His Throne: “Verily, My Mercy prevailed over My Wrath.”
(Al-Bukhari)
But this does not mean that there is no wrath of GOD. We take hundreds of safety precautions around our houses so that our children will not get injured and we warn them not to put their fingers in to electricity plugs, or in to the fire, or not to play with matches. Maybe this example is a bit simple one but know that human being has been given the mind to choose between the good and evil. If one wishes to put his finger in to the fire no matter how many warnings he gets, it becomes his choice and He/She becomes responsible for his/her own actions.
With Salaam and Love
