NUBUWWAT AND WILAYAT

(This sohbat was written down and translated from the voice recordings of Dr.Munir Derman(k.s). From time to time people around him ask questions and he gives answers to them. Tape Record Ref:MD02)

This time when I was visiting Ankara(capital city of Turkey), I have seen those who do not know their own existence justly in Ankara.
They attempt to make irshad by pretending to be a Meshayih(shaikhs, pirs etc.) and gathering disciples around themselves, eventhough they have not pressed the foot in the maqam of Irshad.

They have disciples(murids).
They introduce themselves to the people of the world as Wali by calling each other My Sultan! Or ‘Efendi Hadhrat’!
They say : “We are the people(Ahl) of Marifat!”

We have run in to the invitors selling the words of Auliyah and tasawwufi sentences.

Write “Sin”, “Lâm”. Write “Tın”. Write “Aliph”. Write “Nun”!
Read this. It is SULTAN, isn’t it?
Counterpart of this “Sîn” is “Yâ Sîn”.
It is “Yâ Sîn”.
After that “Lâm” is coming. Aliph Lâm.
Tı, Tâ-Hâ and Ta, Mim, Sin..
Also Nun, Surah Nur , did you understand ?
They give the meaning of “Sultan”.
Sultan in Arabic is “Burhan” in the language of Qur’an.
This means “evidence”.
They introduce themselves to the people of the world as wali by calling each other My Sultan! Or Efendi Hadrat!
They say “we are Ehl-i Marifat(People of wisdom)”.
We run in to the invitors selling the words of Auliyah and tasawwufi sentences.
Marifat is a knowledge(ilm).

This knowledge is used for removing the veil between himself and his Rabb(lord). The owner of Marifat sees the attribute(sifat) of everything.
He can not see its Truth(Haqiqat).
Unity(tawheed) of these attributes is Marifat.
You wouldn’t have been a Walî by knowing this Unity(Tawheed).
You can not see the Truth(Haqiqat).
If everyone seeing the zâhir of the material (ashya) was a Walî, nobody would deserve the punishment(azab).
Even the possessor of Marifat is not the possessor of good(Hayr).
Even though you would see the man flying!..

Even the Sevens, Fourties, ThreeHundred are not the owner of Wilayat.
They are not the owner of Wilayat.
If these murshids had pressed the foot in the post of Wilayat(Maqam-i Wilayat), they would not claim to be doing irshad, and would not be far away from the level of TRUTH(HAQQ) by regarding themselves saintly/glorious(Aziz) in the public.
They introduce themselves as Walî.
As soon as Rasulullah(sas) passed away to “Akhirat”, Nubuwwat has been permutated(Tebeddul) to Wilayat.
Huqm-u Nubuwwat has been complete.
Period of Wilayat has emerged.
Spiritual Power (RUHÎ QUDRAT) of Our Master Rasulullah(sas) has been manifest within the Auliyah.
Auliyah are such people that they are hidden to whole world and everything.

They possess every knowledge.
As the people of the world do not know in whose hand the tasarruf is, auliyah is not known in his time.
No matter how much his outer(zâhiri) existence is not hidden, his true SECRET(SIRR) is hidden.
As today is the period of Wilayat, Maqam-i Qudrat belongs to Auliyah. What was wiped on Auliyah, is the nubuwwat of Rasulullah (sas).

When a wali had 3 thousand kilos of load 300 years ago, this load is 30 thousand kilos today.
Because when it gets closer to hereafter(akhirat) and doomday(kiyamat), the works which ALLAH does not like will increase so much. The walees took this load on their shoulder so that Janâb-i ALLAH will not give ghadab to people and Ruhaniyyat-i Rasulullah will not be saddened.
If you made 10 year effort to make a Walî angry in earlier time , we will have to wait 300 years today.

Allah is manifesting(making tajalli) to that degree with His Asma, As-Sabûr(The Patient One) today.
People of Lût(Job) used to fill two streets,
They were 1500 people.
Qawm of Nûh(Noah) included 2000 people.
Musa’s were 1200 people.
Janab-i Allah reduced(flattened) them to the level of earth in a split second.
The mankind (bashariyyat) is doing What the people of Lot were doing in 30 years, in half an hour today.
These men!..

Because it is Rahmatanlilalamin(Mercy to the worlds).
Rahmat means that
Each centimetre square of this quadrate area is under the effect of 1033 gram air mass. When we held a ……(missing word due to unclear tape record), it swells. Lift the air up then it is held on the scale(Mizan).
Rahmat is like that too.
As long as our master Rasulullah (sas)’s sacred body(Jasad-i Mubarak) is within the earth(ardh), His RAHMAT will still continue.
Close to the after life(akhirat), Close to the dooms day(kiyamat). This is a hadith.
Dooms day(Kiyamat) will happen in Mecca last.
5 minutes after it will happen in Madina.
Jebrail(Gabriel), Mikail(Michael), Israfil(Raphael) and Azrail(Angel of Death) will descend.
They will descend down and break off the sacred body of Rasulullah(sas) (They will take it).
So that He will not see its magnitude.
So that He will not be afraid of it.
That is why, the above is like this so that Rasulullah will not be saddened.

Efendim(My master), but, could there be another world after the life in this world? Could there be another Âlam?

There are ones walking hiddenly amongst the public.
No one can know them but the TRUTH(HAQQ).
The attributes (Sifat) of the Material(Ashya) can not be a veil to them. There is no secret/hidden thing to them.
If they wish , they reach from east to west(shark to gharb).
They are called ‘AHLULLAH’.
The wise men(Âlim) of my people(ummah) are like the prophets of the Bani Israel (Children of Israel). This is a noble hadith.
Who are ment by the wise men here are Auliyahs.
There is no possibility for any one other than Auliyah to reach to “Maqam-i Nubuwwat”.
Wilayat and Nubuwwat are both a Divine Light(Noor).
When that Divine Light(Noor) emerges and arises from the the existence of a wali, this is called WILAYAT.
If it emerges from the existence of a Nabi(Prophet), it is called Nubuwwat(Prophethood).

It is must(fardh) for a Prophet(Nabi) to explain that Noor.
It is forbidden for an Auliyah to (disclose this Noor).
Because, otherwise He will have claimed the prophethood(Nubuwwat).
That is why it is forbidden.
(Otherwise) He will become a ‘Kafeer:Infidel’ immediately.

Every spiritual state(hâl) has the Essence and Word which are peculiar to its self.
His(a Waliullah’s) speech perhaps can not be understood instantly.
But you can feel a majestic grandeur(HeyBet) within his speech.
Every Wali’s speech(kelâm) is different.
Everyone of them speaks in accordance with his own spiritual station(Maqam).
They do ‘irshad’,
They are wrapped up with knowledge(ilm).
They do forgive.
They cover the blemishes and disgrace of the people.
They show patience(sabr) to the afflictions.
They become pleased with the situations coming from ALLAH but manifesting through His slaves in Zahir(when an affliction comes from the hand of a slave of Allah, he will consider this coming from Allah and be pleased with it without any complaint).
If these(friends of ALLAH:Waliullah) were apparent, and
If they had considered the people to be the one causing infliction, they would have gone in to controversy and fight about themselves( this would go in to a battle with public then this would not be appropriate for wilayat).
Their disguise is a mercy to the people from the Haqq.
A wali being apparent to public will only become apparent with his knowledge(ilm) in Outer(Zahir).
They don’t show the secret of wilayat to anyone.
There are a lot of veils hiding every wali.
The veils are various.
Everyone can not understand the Wali.
Many would not believe and remain as objector.
This is also a secret.
If everbody within the public had accepted his grandeur, he would not have been able to find a reward(ajir) coming from his patient(sabr) state against those who attribute a lie to him.
If everyone had attributed a lie to him, in this case he would not have been able to give thanks(making shukr) to the Haqq.
That is why , faith (iman) has two kinds.
One of them is SABR(Patience).
The other one is SHUKR( Being Thankfull to Allah. Acknowledging the beneficence of Allah).

There is a word called TASAWWUF constantly on the lips of today’s scholars and mursheeds.
Tasawwuf used to have an essence and truth.
But it used not to have a name circulating within the mouth.
Today, it only has a name.
Its essence has not remained and its truth has perished.
His Tasawwufi writings and books are the spiritual state of that Wali living that state.
If someone’s inner is worthier than his outer, his name is called ‘WALI”. That’s it!..
If his inner and outer is same, his name is called ‘ÂLIM’.
If his outer is wothier than his inner, he is called the class of ‘JAHIL:Ignorant’.

We always, we always told you many times, wrote and hinted. But you take your own course. You desire to know the bottom of every thing. Otherwise, the work finishes in a split second! (Dr.M.Derman is Speaking to a student around him)

Everything has an end.
That is why , keep away from the words of the salesman son!
The ones ,who do work in this physical plane, will also be in need of the words of Spiritual stations and the men within these stations.
We have fallen in to this situation today because our country has lost the meaning of that last sentence.
Believe in what you see ,and what you hear!
Find and know its’ ‘Hukm(influence, verdict, judgement)’ afterwards your self!

Eyes of the person eating the bread crumbs and rice grains fallen off after the dining table is removed, will open.

This sentence is the essence of the ten volume book.
If you become like this, the trees, wolves, stones and animals that are in the places you roam, will speak with you. There is no one remained to say these words anymore. There are no ones to take their places either.
The libraries has been closed for 40 years.
There are also no ones who will read the books.
Other writing, other language, other mentatility.
In fact you and me are not even able to write a letter to each other in earlier Turkish.
I write from the right and you start from the left.
“Muhterem Efendim!
Sayin, Bay good!” ( Dr.M.Derman shows here an example of how the earlier Turkish has been contaminated by other languages. )

40 or 50 year generation in our country, has established a language of ignorance by gathering made up words.
But from a point of view, this has been good.
The things which will be apparent have manifested perfectly.
Hadrat Akshamsaddeen’s father named Shaikh Hamza is a person who had ‘karamats’.
when Akshamsaddeen(1389-1450-A waliullah who was the teacher of Fatih Sultan Mehmed) was 7 year old, Shaikh Hamza came to Amasya by ALLAH’s order.
He is in the street of Kavak.
His grave is still there.
On the night Shaikh Hamza passed away and was put in his grave, a beast called the “wolf of Sirtan” opens his grave and wants to eat his body.
Shaikh takes his hand out.
He squeezes that beast’s throat and kills it.
Next morning , when the people come to visit his grave, they see the hand of Merhum( the one who reached to the grace of Allah) outside.
Everyone is in amazement.
At that moment, an Arif person whose heart eye is open, happens to be there as well.
That person mentioned says: the hand of the deceased must be washed as it held the wolf!
They wash it.
His hand is withdrawn inside indeed.
Since that day, they call this marhum “Wolf strangler Shaikh –Kurtbogan Seyh”.
Now he is remembered with this name in that land.
They would not know Shaikh Hamza.
What is it within this story?
Seek and find it!..

Now, here is today’s Ankara(capital city of Turkey).
Unfortunately, there are not even a single shadow amongst the mursheeds and religious scholars who could know the necessity of washing that hand.
Whomever you talk with, everyone is in the desire and heedlessness of showing their greatness and making the others accept themselves.
Nakshibandi Shaikhs, Khaliphs of Rifai, their disciples(mureeds), and those Binamaz people who were introduced to us as Murshid.
The Jaheels(ignorants) with long moustaches having no Ghusul(major ablution), considering themselves as Alawi.
I have seen those who hurt the Ahl-i Baith and saddening the spirit of Rasulullah (sas), while they are stating that they love the Ahl-i Baith. I have seen those double faced hypocrites looking religious and giving titles/post(maqam) to themselves.
We have seen people showing reverence to those(fake mursheeds, sheikhs and hypocrites) by expecting something from them, and being in kufr(disbelief) because of their inability to understand this and fallen in to shirk completely.
We have seen clean youngsters running after them by looking at their pompous speech.

When the spiritual heart crusts,
When disbelief(Kufr) and hypocrites increase in a land,
The outer , material, and volitional (iradî) balance of that land is also fallen off…
If any type of work is entrusted to those who are not qualified for it, a time period waiting for the dooms day keeps being expected.
There is no need to count the signs of the doomsday today!
Why are you asking?
There is no need to say ‘this happened or this will happen’ anymore. All people, they themselves one by one are a kind of sign of the doomsday.
Signs of that world have already dawned physically in the spirits now…
