MONTH OF SHABAN AND OUR BLESSED MOTHER , “ÂMINA”
by Dr. Münir DERMAN (ks)
Centuries ago from today.
Add more centuries on 1000 years.
There was a woman who, was 18-19 years old, 20 years old or about 22 years old with resplendent face(noor faced), black hair and beautiful eyes which are blessed(mubarak) like olive.
Her snow white skin was weak,
She had been sent to another climate for medical reasons(Tabdil-I Hawa).
As she realised that she will not see any benefit from this air change :
Saying “ Take me back to my hometown again!”, she was an exceptional and beautiful woman amongst the people created by Allah.
Aziz jamaat(Oh Dear Precious People)!
Month of Rajap has gone. You know that month of Rajab is the month of Allah.
Month of Shaban is the month of Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, and we are in it.
Imam Efendi read an Ayat-ul-Kareema(a verse from Qur’an) in the prayer of Mihrabbiyya[1]:
“Ya ayyuhallazina amanu .”
“Oh You who believe”
“The servants who believe in Allah and His Rasul.
The ones who believe in existence of Allah.
The ones who believe in the book of Allah and obey His Rasul.”
He read that Ayat-ul-Kareema.
Now, this month is the month of ones who obey Rasulullah (SAW)...
Being a muslim, and being obedient to Rasulullah(SAW) are different matters.
A human(insan) who thinks with his mind(aql) ,
not with his back bone, will immediately understand what I meant.
After the month of Rasulullah, the month of Muslims, who are obedient to him
and put their head down on Prostration of Most Merciful(Sajda-i Rahman) will follow.
Why are there the month of Rasulullah, month of Allah and month of his ummah(followers)?
It is difficult to understand this.
Is it a Secret(SIRR)?
No, it is not a secret at all.

She was travelling from a place to her own hometown, on the shoulders lying in a stretcher made of date tree branches.
All of a sudden : “ Bring me down!”, her beautiful voice is emanating around and they are bringing her down.
Near her, there is a child of this resplendent faced woman,
and he is about five or six years old.
He is more resplendent than her.
The poor woman is fainting all of a sudden.
She is loosing her conscious in a stretcher made of a date tree branches.
Near her, she has her only beloved son who is about 6 years old.
Taking her Mother’s hand in to his little hands.
Tears are starting to fall down his face.
Having fainted for a little moment, his mother is opening her eyes due to the tears falling into his mothers’ hand and looking in to her son’s eye.
She was herself was one of the people saying most beautiful words, that blessed(Mubarak) woman.
Starting to her words by saying “Bârak Allahu” .
I am not going to read it’s Arabic now.
I will tell it’s Turkish.
“Everyone will die!
Every new one will get old.
Every being (existence) will perish.
There ,I am dying too!
My name will everlast as long as the world exists ,
because I brought a pure and beautiful son to the world!” she is saying.
Then closing her blessed(Mubarak) eyes.
Reaching to ALLAH.
This blessed (Mubarak) woman was Hadrati Amina [2].
And the one whose eyes she looked in to and said this, was also Hadrat-i Rasul-i Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam and he was about 6 years old.
There , this event had happened in this month.
Rasulullah had become an orphan.
That is why this month is the month of Rasulullah.
May Allah make us attain to their shafaat(Intercession )[3] and make it easy for us.
Âmin!..

Ya ayyuhallazina amanu:
—”İnnallahe va malaikatahu yusalluna alaen nabiyy ya ayyuhallazina amanu sallu alayhi va sallimu taslima: Allah and His Angels send blessing on the Prophet: o ye that believe send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.” (Al-Ahzab 33/56)
GLOSSARY
[1] Mihrab: (in Persian مهراب or محراب, in Arabic ألمحراب pl. محاريب), sometimes spelled “mehrab” or “mehraab”, is a niche in the wall of a mosque that indicates the qibla, i.e. the direction of Kaaba that Muslims should face when praying. The wall is called the qibla wall. The mihrab gives the impression of a door or a passage to Mecca. They vary in size but are usually ornately decorated. Mihrabs first appeared in the reign of the Umayyad khalif al-Walid I (705–715).
[2] Hadrat-i Amina(R.A): Blessed Mother of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
[3] Shafaat: It literally means something like to join someone in order to support, to assist and to intercede for him. In the religious terminology, it means praying, imploring, and begging of the Prophet, and of the special people, who will be given permission by Allah, to Allah in the world-to-come for His forgiveness of the believers’ sins, and for promotion of the sinless ones to higher ranks. Without Allah’s permission nobody can exert and show shafa’at to someone whom Allah has no consent. ”…There is no intercessor except after His permission…” {Yûnus, 10/3), ”…They do not intercede except for him whom He approves..” {Anbiyâ’, 21/28}. There is no intercession for kâfir (infidel), mushrik (Polytheist), and hypocrites. Qur’an says: ”…The intercession of intercessors shall not avail them.” {Muddaththir, 74/48; An’âm, 6/51) In one of his Hadiths our Prophet Muhammad informed that he will intercede for the sinful people of his nation. {Tirmîdhî, Qıyâmat, 11; Ibn Mâja, Zuhd, 37}
Prophet Muhammad will also have a general and more inclusive intercession. All the human being who will be anxious and distressful will demand intercession from the prophet to intercede in Mahshar in order to hasten their judgement. This is named as shafâ’at-i uzmâ {the great intercession}. This type of intercession of the Prophet is mentioned in the Qur’an as “maqâm mahmûd” (The praised rank).
