Ibrahim(a.s)_Ismail(a.s)

THE STORY OF ABRAHAM(IBRAHIM a.s) AND ISHMAEL (ISMAIL a.s)

My love you, my children. Today I will tell you the story of Abraham(a.s) and Ishmael(a.s), may the peace of God be upon them.

Abraham (a.s) was sent as a prophet to show the people God’s  good actions and His power, His qudrat. And when Abraham(a.s) was thrown into the fire, he demonstrated the strength of his iman, his absolute faith, certitude, and determination, to the people, to the angels, and to the other prophets.

DON’T POUR MUD ON YOUR HEAD LIKE AN ELEPHANT

My love you, my grandchildren. Would you like to see some more of the jungle? Let us climb up this rocky mountain and look around below us. Ah! Do you see that herd  of elephants? Two or three appear to be leading the herd in to the pond. Look how they roll in the water, then draw it up into their trunks and spray it all over themselves. They love to play in the water and spray each other. Let’s sit down and watch for a while. Don’t go too close, because elephants will turn on you if you frighten them.

Termites

The Termite’s Beautiful House

My Love you, my grandchildren . Look at this huge mound built by termites. See how tall it is! The termites designed this house very carefully so that it would be a healthy environment for their colony. The house even has a subtle air conditioning system which allows air to enter one side and flow out the other. It also allows the sunlight in, but keeps the rain water out.

Why We Recite the Maulids

by M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen

Source: http://www.bmf.org/wisdom/maulids.html

Introduction
Maulid is an Arabic word meaning the celebration of a birthday, especially that of a prophet or saint.

In this discourse, M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) is referring to two celebrations: one for the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Sal.) during the month of Rabï-ul-Awwal, and one for Qutb Muhyiddïn ‘Abdul-Qädir al-Jïlänï (Ral.) during the month of Rabï-uth-Thänï. Because Qutb Muhyiddïn (Ral.) was born during Ramadän, the month of fasting, the celebration of his life is commemorated around the anniversary of his death.

The maulids last for eleven or twelve days, beginning after the late afternoon prayers (‘asr) and lasting for about three hours. During that time numerous prayers of remembrance (dhikr), traditional stories (ahädïth), and verses of praise (salawät) are recited.

In the following discourse, M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) explains the purpose and benefit of observing these maulids - to honor the wise ones who are our helpers and to praise Allah for sending them to guide us.

Prophet Issa (Jesus) a.s

Posted by: admin   in Islam, M.R Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (K.S)

Prophet Issa (Jesus)

(May Allah’s Peace and Blessings be Upon Him)

A child asks Bawa Muhaiyaddeen: Who or what is Christ?
Bawa: You want to know about who Jesus, the Prophet Jesus is. He is your Soul. There is a ‘Kalima’ in Arabic that says, “La ilaha ill Allahu wa inni Issa Ruhulllah.” That is, “There is no god but ALLAH(God), there is a prophet to follow, and Issa is the Soul of Allah(God).” Now that is not something that you have found recently. Even before the creation of man a Ray (Noor) came from the Plenitude of Allah(God) and Allah(God) named that the Ruh or the Soul, and that is also named Issa.(A.S.)
Now this is not something that was said some thousand nine hundred odd years ago.
It was said, many, many millions of years ago, it was said, two hundred million years ago.

Lailatul-Qadr (The Night of Power)

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bismillähir-Rahmänir-Rahïm. In the Name of God, most Merciful, most Compassionate.

Allah! Creator who gave us integrity! Bestower of tranquillity and peace! Allah, Giver of true sustenance (rizq) and grace (rahmat).

Within man You placed everything of this world and the world of souls: the throne of God (‘arsh), the gnostic eye (kursï), the pen (qalam), heaven, and the preserved tablet (al-lauhul-mahfüz), which is destiny.

One who is Lord, You gave us everything: You gave us completeness, long life, and death. Allah, You are the One who made us complete.

The Temple Priest Who Collected Karma

Come to the Secret Garden (Sufi Tales of Wisdom), page 117-120

By M.R.Bawa Muhaiyaddeen(K.S)

My love you, my grandchildren, my brothers and sisters, my sons and daughters. There once was a priest whom the whole world praised. They called him a sincere devotee of God because he had performed his rituals and pujas [*] in the temple for nearly eighty years.

[*] Puja (T) : Ritual devotion; offering flowers, fruits, milk and honey, and various things to the idols of chosen deities.

The Three Worlds That Appear in Man by Sheikh M.R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (K.S)

From The Golden Words of a Sufi Sheikh, Word#605.

Bawa Muhaiyaddeen-Golden Words

Bismillähir-Rahmänir-Rahïm, in the name of ALLAH(GOD), Most Merciful, Most Compassionate.

My precious children, jeweled lights of my eyes, all of us have come to this world, have we not? But this is only one world; as one looks deeply with wisdom, three worlds will be seen.

The first is awwal, the world of the souls, the world seen first in äthi, the time before creation began. The second is dunyä, this world, in which man’s body has appeared. The third is äkhirah, the world in which everything is known and understood, the world of the kingdom of God, the world of God’s undiminishing benevolence.

EVERYONE IS SPEAKING OF PEACE

Posted by: admin   in Islam, M.R Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (K.S)

EVERYONE IS SPEAKING OF PEACE by Bawa Muhaiyaddeen(K.S)

I seek refuge in Allah from the evils of the accursed satan.
In the name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate.

Brothers and sisters born in this world, please listen to this wonder! The heavens and earth have always existed in peace. The sun, the moon, the stars, and the wind all perform their duty in harmony. Only man, who lives on this earth, has lost that peace. He only talks about it. He gives speeches about establishing peace, but then he disrupts the unity and sets out to rule the world. Is this not a wonder? Such is the speech of man.

THE DANGEROUS DISCOVERIES OF MAN

From The Golden Words of a Sufi Sheikh, Word 801.

Son, have you seen the dangerous discoveries man has made in the world? Ultimately, the energies and forces he discovers will destroy him and all other lives.

Allähu ta‘älä Näyan, Almighty God, has given to man all the potentialities of the world of the souls, this world, and the kingdom of heaven. He has given him the inner secret and the outer secret of these worlds. Man is free to do what he wants, but it is important for him to discover and understand these secrets and all the potentialities.
