Become Small and Escape
My love you, my grandchildren. Shall we go out for a walk to get some fresh air? Look something teribble must be happening! People are running away as if they are afraid of something. Listen to them shouting and yelling, “Run, run for life!” “Brother, Sister, Father! Come don’t be left behind! The world is being destroyed!” “The gales and storms are coming! The earth is opening up and caving in!” “ The end of the world is here!” Their cries of fright fill the air.
Why are they running? Where are these hordes of people going? Look at them pushing and shoving each other, all crowding into one narrow path and running toward a tiny opening at the end of the path. Look, they are trying to creep into it. But the opening is so small, and the crowd is so huge!
Watch carefully and you will see that a few of the small people do manage to fit through, but the big people are unable to. Even though they ran so fast and pushed the smaller ones behind so they could get there first, they cannot fit into that hole. They are too big. But the small ones manage to creep through any available space, ducking under the arms or crawling between the legs of the big people. This is really amazing! Those who were important in the world are being left behind, while the small ones are entering the opening and escaping the destruction.

GOLDEN WORDS OF A SUFI SHEIKH - WORD NO.314
FIRKA-I NAJIYA:
My son, the human generation consists of seventy-three groups [1]. Three of them say they have the faith, certitude, and determination in God which is known as iman. Of these three groups, the people in one group say they love land, gold, and women — and also God.
Those in the second group, although they have faith in God, place their trust in themselves, their titles, and their own abilities. They praise themselves and always claim that their actions are correct.

Who Can Fly As High As The the Eagle?
M y love you, my grandchildren, my sisters and brothers, my daughters and sons. It is
early morning. Shall we go for a walk? Look! A family of eagles is sitting on those trees that overlook the ocean. They have white-feathered necks and their bodies are the color of the earth. Some are gazing intently at the nearby pond, and others are peering out toward the ocean. They are searching for food.
Do you see that lone eagle perched way up there on the highest branch? “O eagle, please come down. We want to talk with you.
“You fly so high, with such beauty and majesty. You can fly better than all the other birds. But what do you think about as you soar through the air? You think about killing other lives and eating them. Is that good? Is it right to kill? Please tell us why you do this?”
My grandchildren, listen carefully to the eagle’s answer.

The Hunter Learns Compassion from the Fawn
My love you, my grandchildren, my sons and daughters, my brothers and sisters. Have
you ever seen a baby deer? Let me tell you a story about a fawn and its mother. Please listen carefully. This story will show you the difference between the awareness of animals.
Once there was a man who liked to go hunting. He would go into the forest carrying a gun or a bow and arrow, and he would shoot deer, elk, and other animals. Like most hunters he enjoyed eating all the animals he killed, but he found deer meat especially tasty.
Now this man had been hunting, killing, and eating like this for most of his life. Then one day he came upon a deer giving milk to her fawn. This made him happy because he was tired, and he knew that the deer could not run away while her baby was nursing. So he shot her. But before dying, the deer cried, “O man, you have shot me. So go ahead and eat me, but do not harm my child! Let it live and go free!”

DON’T BE LIKE A CRANE IN MEDITATION, BE LIKE A LOTUS FLOWER
My Son, do not wander here and there to meditate and search for God. Look at a crane as it stands patiently for six or eight hours at a time, waiting to catch a fish. See how subtly it stands motionless on one leg, folding its wings, so that even its shadow is controlled. It does this because it is hungry.

RESENTMENT - IMPATIENCE - ANGER - LUST & DUTY
My son! We are human beings, are we not? In the subtle life of man there are five things which must be remembered:
1.Resentment is an enemy to wisdom.
2.Impatience eats up wisdom.

Rasulullah (Sal.) on Mi’raj
Child: In a hadith, a traditional story, the Resûlullah, Prophet Muhammed (Sal.) said that those who dwell in heaven will see ALLAH all the time, that He will be clearly visible.
Bawa Muhaiyaddeen: When the Rasulullah (Sal.) went on Mi’raj, to commune with ALLAH, a veil separated the Rasulullah (Sal.) from ALLAH. ALLAH spoke to him from behind this veil. They discussed prayer and worship, and ALLAH told the Rasulullah(Sal.) to tell all He had spoken to his followers.
When they had finished talking about prayer and about his followers, the Rasulullah (Sal.) said, “ALLAH, I want to see You. I must see You.”
ALLAH said, “Remove the veil and look.”
