MAKE EFFORT TO MELT IN RASULULLAH S.A.W.S
Abu MuhaMMad Yahya explained this incident to many of his Friends.
He was a friend of Allah from Baghdad, in the suburb of Daru’l-Rafik. There was also the tomb of Hadrati Abdulqadiri Jilani in the suburb, Daru’l-Rafik. You might have seen this, if you would have happened to pass by Baghdad insha’ALLAH. The bars around the tomb were worn out because everyone, whether Christian, Atheist, believer or disbeliever, would come and cling to them.
Once if someone lost himself and said it, his work would be resolved immediately my son!
Go! Aha Baghdad is there, go! Go there instead of going to Sweden as a tourist!
You may say “Sir, I will go to Sweden and bring the car!”
My son if you go there, you will get in to an unseen car there too!

Don’t be angry; enter paradise!
One of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h.) asked Prophet Muhammad for advice. He asked that the advice be short so that he would be able to remember it. “Don’t get angry,” said the Prophet. The same Companion repeated his request for some brief advice; each time he received the same answer from the Prophet each time, “Don’t get angry!”
(Source; Bukhari, A’dab, 76)

|
God permeates the whole wide world,
Yet his truth is revealed to none.
You better seek Him in yourself,
You and He aren’t apart – you’re one.

Tens of books have been written about Yunus Emre’s poetry, his metaphysics, his philosophy and other aspects of his works. Here I will quote one his most frequently recited pieces for examination: Read the rest of this entry »

The Importance of Zuhd
|
Under the blessed roof of Masjid an-Nabawi, he raised a model generation not enslaved to materialism. In this regard, it can be said that his life was one that was intertwined with zuhd.

The prophets, tasked with proclaiming divine messages to mankind, were figures selected from amongst people to convey and demonstrate truths to humanity. They neither asked for any price/compensation from people in exchange for their call, nor had they any expectations of such. (1) The prophets made a living through their own labor and sweat. Upon examination of the history of the prophets in this respect, it is seen that all of the prophets had an occupation and were actively involved in these trades. Within the context of their respective situations, they worked as carpenters, tailors, famers, blacksmiths and shoemakers. (2) Read the rest of this entry »
