Rasulullah (sas)

RaSuLullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam)):

Messenger of ALLAH. Rasul is translated as messenger to English language but the term “Messenger” will only limit the meaning of this word. The term, “Rasul” has very comprehensive meanings. We can look in to the syllables , “Ra” and “Sul”. In Arabic , “SALL”, “SUL”, SALAH:Prayer” , “SALAWAT”, “SALAM”, “SILA” , “IRSAL” have similar root etymologically. “SUL” is like SILA and “SILA” means the Tie. In English the word SALUte and SALVATion also come from The same root. SILA is like a connecting tie. “RA” shows the subject doing it. Rasul means the one who will connect you or take you back in the right direction(istiqamat). IRSAL means the transportation, to carry or to send. Rasul is the one who has the authority to get the SILA done. For instance there is a term in Turkish ,”SAL”. “SAL” is in English called RAFT. It takes you from one side of the river to the other side. Rasul takes ROOH(Spirit) back to ALLAH. Because the spirit(ROOH) is from ALLAH. RASUL is the one who will make the Risala(revelation, message) appear. RASUL makes you “SALL” to ALLAH , connects you to ALLAH. SALL means to reach somewhere. RASUL is the one who will make you reach where you come from.
